Dear Father,

We approach Your throne today in humility, and thank You for allowing us to gather here.

We thank You for the opportunity to serve and testify of Your goodness.

Remind us of your love.

Let us hear Your voice as You speak peace over us.

Help us find joy amid sorrow, deliverance in the place of seeming defeat; steadiness in the quake of fear; clarity in confusion; and hope in disappointment.

Our bodies may feel weary, our hearts may be broken, we may feel lonely and alone, yet we open our hands to You in anticipation of Your filling us with hope, comfort, and newfound courage.

Remind us that You are for us. Therefore, none can be against us (Romans 8:31).

Remind us that Your plans are for “peace and not of evil; to give us a future and hope” (Jeremiah 29:11).

Give us strength for the journey. Be our Helper, our Guide, our Counselor, our Provider, and Keeper.

We thank You for hearing us, for your mercy following us, for Your grace saving us, and Your strength protecting us.

We offer our Praise to You, giving You the glory and honor for all You have already done, all You are doing, and all You will do.

In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

But let all those rejoice who put their trust in You;
Let them ever shout for joy, because You defend them;
Let those also who love Your name
Be joyful in You.
For You, O Lord, will bless the righteous;
With favor You will surround him as with a shield.
